The status with respect to the harvest is that the final areas of rape, barley and wheat have now been harvested – although this has taken place very late compared to a normal year.
The final harvest yields on these crops are therefore as follows:
Rape: 1,500 HA with an average of 2.74 tonnes per HA once compensation for hail damage, which is limited to a reference yield of 2.5 tonnes per HA according to Romanian insurance conditions, is factored in.
Winter barley: following very late completion of the harvest, the final yield is 4.6 tonnes per HA on a total area of 785 HA. In Mizil, where the barley was harvested at more or less the normal time, the yield was 5.15 tonnes per HA, whilst the very late harvest of 139 HA in Oravita has had a negative impact on the average yield.
Wheat: 3,193 HA have been harvested at an average yield of 5.2 tonnes per HA.
By way of comparison, the results of the harvest during the last three years are shown below:

(Sunflower – Barley – Rape – Maize – Wheat )
The overall picture for maize and sunflower continues to be pretty good, despite the fact that there are a limited number of areas that are sensitive to water, and which have thus suffered a negative impact due to heavy rainfall.
We have only harvested a few HA, which does not enable a fully qualified picture of the yield to be ascertained. The sunflower and maize harvest will be ramped up during the next few days and weeks, although some fields are still at an early stage of maturity.
1,750 HA of winter rape have been sown. In previous years we have had to wait a long time after sowing before we were able to see signs of germination of the rape, but this year germination is very satisfactory, as can be seen on the photo below from Videle on 12.9.

Sale of shares:
As you know, there is a sales list under shareholder login on Agri Invest’s website, www.agriinvest.eu, where shareholders can put their shares up for sale.
In future this sales list will be updated on an ongoing basis – and at least once a month.
If a shareholder wishes to add his or her shares to the sales list, this can be done by sending an email specifying shareholder number, number of shares for sale, name and phone number to: bds@agrinord.dk and rd@agriinvest.eu.
Once a year – following the company’s ordinary general meeting – the list will be “wiped clean” and then renewed with those shareholders that wish to put their shares up for sale.
