Weather conditions in the spring has been, that it was very wet with very few days with the possibility of
spraying and fertilizer spreading. Then – in late April – was there a few weeks, with extremely high temperatures
and burning sun that made the last part of the sowing to a great challenge, especially in Oravita.

This meant, that winter crops began to be marked by the drought, and the germination of spring crops was slow
in coming. Around 20 May came finally the rain, and helped much the situation.

As shown in the pictures, it has been a very wet spring, which has meant, that spring work first begun in full
during week 16 Winter crops – wheat and rape, as well as a smaller area of winter barley – have all survived the
winter, and there are only a few spots that have been damaged by the large amount of water in the spring.

In Oravita is upgraded with a high capacity sprayer for higher efficiency, and to allow spraying in tall crops
primarily against specific insects in corn (ostrinia nubilalis)

In Videle and Oravita purchased new seeders for maize, which increases capacity significantly, and optimizing
the right time effect to follow, and there is 100% compatibility between drillsseeder and header
