Romania. Winter rapeseed conditions
The agrometeorological conditions in Romania were generally normal from December 17-21. In most farming areas of the country, average air temperature fluctuated within -7..5°C and precipitation was registered mostly in the form of snow.
Depending on the region, the snow cover height ranges from 10 cm to 80 cm. The moisture content in the one-meter soil layer is optimal or close to optimal in most areas. According to adjusted data, winter rape plants entered the winter at the stage of 8-14 leaves are mostly in good condition now.

We can further inform you, that our assessment of the situation, at this time, is in kine withh the above, and are valid for both winter rape and winter wheat: the plants have had a really good start in the autumn. Rape some places were very slow to germinate, but since the rainfall came three weeks after sowing the rape got a really good start and all crops are very reasonable at this time, and is nicely covered with snow, while it is cold but not extremely low temperatures.
